Abstract. Susilowati A, Rachmat HH, Yulita KS, Wijaya K. 2023. Floristic composition and structure of Eurycoma longifolia habitat in Muka Kuning Nature Tourism Park, Riau Islands, Indonesia. Biodiversitas 24: 2836-2842. Jack, locally called as pasak bumi,is a popular medicinal plant which is known to have properties curing various diseases. The root E. the organ that has highest aphrodisiac content so hunting for roots destructively causes significant population decline. Information regarding vegetation community around this species crucial determining appropriate conservation actions. Park (TWA) located Batam Island, Islands Province one natural habitats longifolia, yet information state area not been obtained. This study aims determine floristic focusing on parameters Important Value Index (IVI) biodiversity indices. Vegetation analysis was applied using purposive sampling method based presence individuals. results showed IVI at growth stage seedlings, saplings, poles trees were 18.1%, 21.9%, 12.14% 0%, respectively. No individual found tree level might be attributable habitus small-sized or woody shrub with maximum height 15 m. studied had Shanon-Wienner diversity index (H') from 2.27 3.12 Evenness 0.88 0.98, categorized high. imply bumi TWA classified good tighter protection highly recommended protect valuable it including longifolia.

The floristic composition and structure of the Dry Afromontane Forest at Bale Mountains National Park was studied from July 2003 to June 2004. A total of 90 plots were established at three sites (Adelle, Boditi and Gaysay) at an altitudinal range of 3010–3410 m. The cover abundance values, density, and diameter at breast height and list of species were recorded in each plot. About 230 species b...
